Miss Grit Announces New Album 'Under My Umbrella,' Shares Dreamy Single 'Stranger'

Miss Grit, the moniker of Queens-based artist Margaret Sohn, crafts captivating conceptual pop. After the release of their debut album Follow The Cyborg three years ago and recent collaborations with mui zyu and the Null Club, Miss Grit is gearing up to release their sophomore album, Under My Umbrella.

The album was recorded following extensive touring behind Follow The Cyborg, which included solo drives across North America. Under My Umbrella promises a more spontaneous and freeform sound, aiming to capture the raw energy of live performance. The album opens with the previously released single "Tourist Mind," and now, fans are treated to another new track.

The latest single, "Stranger," is a dreamy electro-pop gem co-produced by Sohn and their longtime mix engineer, Aron Kobayashi Ritch (who also plays bass in Momma). Check out the music video for "Stranger" below, along with the tracklist for Under My Umbrella and Miss Grit's upcoming tour dates.
