Yebba Announces New Album 'Jean' and Drops Haunting Single 'Yellow Eyes'
Yebba returns after a brief hiatus with the announcement of her sophomore album, Jean, dedicated to her late grandmother, and a captivating new single, 'Yellow Eyes'.

In 2021, powerhouse vocalist Yebba released her debut album Dawn, and then she quietly waded back into the ether. She reminded us of her talent with features for Drake (on 2021's Certified Lover Boy) and Tyler, the Creator (for last year's Don't Tap The Glass), but it's been a while since she's released any of her own music. Today, she's returned to announce her sophomore album Jean, which is named for her late grandmother. Along with the news, she's released the lead single "Yellow Eyes."
"Yellow Eyes" is pretty great. It opens with tinkering guitars and a couple emphatic claps. Guitar plucks dance over each other. You can hear skin brush against the strings and resonant body. Yebba's vocals are soft, close, but resilient. “I wanted to experience singing in a different way than I had before,” she said of the new song. Listen below.

Jean is out 3/6 on RCA.
